I've heard it said that Republicans have "crap" for brains. Democrats would be better off not having brains like a Republican, or Ann Coulter for that matter. There is nothing here of intellectual value. This is just a large package of mental 1-ply toilet paper: thin, see-through, and gets your hands messy.

Though I don't usually agree with Ms. Coulter, I enjoy reading her books. She is a great writer and one can learn a lot about law, politics, and history by reading her work. Unlike "Godless", "Slander", "Treason", and "High Crimes...", this book lacked clear thesis and just seemed to be a random collection of zingers. I think Ann should stop being a pundit and maybe teach law or something because she is starting to sound like a broken record.

This book is entertaining, and offers insight into Ann Coulter's conservative views in a lively way. The format of the book, though, appeals mainly, if not solely, to devoted Coulter fans who are familiar with her past works. It is mostly a collection of quotes, some rarer than others, made by Coulter on a wide array of issues. The book focuses on giving the reader a broad idea of Coulter's views and is not very argument based. It is entertaining, but if you're looking for an in-depth argument on the issues, defer to one of her previous books.

I read a Kindle sample of this book to see what the "other side" was thinking. Well, I was very unimpressed. Not because of her insults, but because most of what I read was about how great Ann Coulter thinks she is. Even if she is joking, I didn't find her very funnny. I didn't even find my blood pressure rising. What a lame book. Ann needs to write less about herself and maybe more of why she believes the Democrats are so wrong and the Republicans are so right.

I thought I was going to be getting an actual book with a lot of good arguments, backed up by political insight and observations. But it turns out, this book is just a compilation of a bunch of Ann Coulter's quotes from previous articles, books, or lectures. I read about half the book, then got bored from brain destimulation. For my first Coulter book, this was a big disappointment.
