This is an impressive presentation of algebra & trig. It has a wealth of well designed visual aids and clear worked examples. Is it worth the list price of $144? No! There are scanty few textbooks that I would deem worthy of such outrageous prices. But, since this one can be obtained used for a reasonable price, I'd give it a thumbs up with no reservations.
BTW - the previous reviewer's one star rating only reflects the publisher's (or Amazon's) failure to provide adequate details of the nature of book. That really has nothing to do with conveying the quality of the textbook's presentation of the material. |

| Unfortunately, this book was a teachers edition, so my daughter's teacher was not too thrilled to see her have it in class! So much for saving a few dollars - I still had to go out and pay full price for the student edition. To the sellers, this was an important piece of information that should have been more apparent in the description. |
