You can finish this book in one day easy. It's so funny! It tells the story of Greg Heffley. You can get into it right away. It's aimed at mostly middle school kids, but I think anyone can relate to what he goes through and find it funny. If you're looking for something quick and funny to read, get this book. I'm glad I did!

This second book is,as the title, states, less of more. The first book was great and I found myself indentifying with the main character.
The second book I was less sure.
Stil.it's a wonderful tale of woe, book 1 and 2. I love them both. |

| Do you have a reluctant reader? I can't recommend this book series enough for typical elementary age boys! I've never seen my 10 year old with his nose actually in a book, but this series did it. Jeff Kinney is a genius, and I'm grateful for his writing efforts. We can't wait for book 3, book 4, and so on! This is the first book series that my 4th grader actually read on his own. In his words, "I think these are funny, hilarious, and filled with great characters." Take a chance on these and chances are, you won't be sorry! |

Proof the formula works twice, look out Grisham. Another referral from my son and another enjoyable, and at times, hilarious recounting of MY middle school years. And I thought writing my name on a table with an alcohol burner was funny.
You forty-somethings out there put down your tired Grisham, cheesy Cussler, or old, but good Clancey and read this. It's only a night and you will enjoy it. And you might even develop an additonal bond with YOUR son or daughter: priceless. |
