| Reproduce Almost Anything: With Basic Silicone Mold Making (DVD and Workbook) by Cherokee Accessories Over priced and over-rated | Most of the information in the booklet I had previously found for free on the internet. The booklet itself looks like something I could have printed off my home inkjet printer. The instructions are clear enough however, the diagrams are few and inadequate.
The DVD is well made with some good CG explanations but I found the summaries long and overly redundant and the overall length of the DVD was far less than I expected. Knowing what it costs to make a DVD I couldn't see why it cost $10 more than the VHS.
Having learned most of what is in this set on the internet, I would recommend skipping this one and going to the Vol.II but only for half the price. | | Reproduce Almost Anything: With Basic Silicone Mold Making (DVD and Workbook) by Cherokee Accessories If I could return it I would. | I've viewed the video and went through the workbook, save your money. If you're looking to reproduce anything with silicone mold making your already beyond the material presented in this DVD and Workbook. Only one technique is shown and that is done by demonstration only. Those that can't teach shouldn't.
Sorry Ben but stick to mold making, if you're making money at it as you say in the video it must be by selling the video. | | Reproduce Almost Anything: With Basic Silicone Mold Making (DVD and Workbook) by Cherokee Accessories Product Description | | "If you want to understand the basics of silicone molding, there is simply nothing else out there that offers as much information and insights contained in this one package..." -- Reproduce Almost Anything - A DVD Workshop shows a beginner how to make a two-sided silicone rubber mold from almost any object and then use that silicone mold to make exact copies in metal, platic, rubber, ceramic, plaster, etc. -- Whether you are an inventor, model railroader, classic car restorer, sculptor, doll maker or hobbyist of any sort, you?re going to find out that ?Reproduce Almost Anything? is a technical ?eye opener?. -- Using techniques developed by Ben Ridge, the beginner can learn how to inexpensively create a silicone rubber mold from an original part, and then reproduce those parts in metal, plastic, rubber, ceramic, plaster and even chocolate.
