| Divine Magic (Hay House Classics) by Hay House Divine Magic by Doreen Virtue | I enjoyed reading and putting into action the seven spiritual laws of manifestation as outlined in the book Divine Magic (Hay House Classics), I have actually Studied The Emerald Tablet and I feel that Doreen Virtue has made the work much clearer and more practical to use in this time. I have had wonderful insights and results from working with the message in this book. Well written and quite powerful. The added bonus of a CD is terrific.

Astrid | | Divine Magic (Hay House Classics) by Hay House Doreen's Worst Book | | I like Doreen's books, but this is probably her worst. Simply awful. I recommend you buy one of her better (older) books. The older books have more depth because she probably spent more time researching topics. The factory speed the new ones come out have definitely affected the quality. | | Divine Magic (Hay House Classics) by Hay House Divine Magic | | Absolutely divine!! Enjoyed the book very much and love listening to the CD enclosed with the book. | | Divine Magic (Hay House Classics) by Hay House The Seven Sacred Secrets of Manifestation | This book is small but powerful, small enough to stuff in a bag and read on the plane from Baltimore to San Diego. It's a little bigger than a 5 x 7 photo, and only108 pages. It includes a CD of Doreen discussing the concepts in the book, so you are getting a double package. (It is NOT a meditative CD like it says in Amazon's writeup.) And, the book and CD are clear and easy to understand, as are all of Doreen's books and CDs. So, if you're going to tell me, "I don't have time to read," then fine. Listen to the CD a couple of times in the car on the way to work until you find the time to read the book. (You know darned well you FIND the time for what you REALLY want to do anyway!)
In this little bombshell, Angel Lady writes her interpretation of the Hermetic manual, The Kybalion, a classic esoteric self-help book, first published in 1908. Hermes Trismegistus was a great spiritual teacher in ancient Egypt who wrote and lectured about the ability of the MIND to create and heal.
The CD has 7 tracks, explaining the Kybalion and the Seven Sacred Secrets. Doreen tells us we all have special powers from the Divine. We can learn how to harness them by studying these secrets.
The 7 Principles are: 1) MENTALISM (the Universe is mental, held in the mind of The All) Spirit is The All; Using the Laws of the Universe to rise above the lower vibrations of pain and suffering to live life in the higher vibrations, and above pain and suffering. 2 ) CORRESPONDENCE "As above, so below and as below, so above". 3 ) VIBRATION (everything vibrates. Slower vibrations are matter; highest are Spiritual. You can hold thoughts and emotions so they vibrate at a higher level and gain control over that which affects your life. Called "Induction and telepathy," you can not only affect your vibration, but directly affect the vibration of others. 4 ) POLARITY (2 extremes of the pole--hot and cold are 2 extremes of the pole "temperature". Move a visualized lever to the side of the pole you want and away from the end you don't want. 5) RHYTHM (everything moves up and down the pole in rhythm). 6) CAUSE and EFFECT (nothing happens by chance) 7) GENDER (recognizing and balancing the male and female energies within you.)
Live life in a higher vibration??? Affect the vibrations of others??? Oh, yeah, right! Sure!
OK. Now that you're done laughing, pick yourself up off the floor and think about it!
The next time you see somebody come into a room with a bad attitude (and please don't let it be you), WATCH the dynamics. OBSERVE! Watch how that one bad attitude has a domino effect on the person who gets dumped on, then the entire room. Then the dumpee dumps on somebody else, and so on. If you're fortunate enough to see the polarity (the opposite), OBSERVE the dynamics when a really pleasant person comes into a room. When you choose to (yes, I said CHOOSE to) be pleasant and happy and at peace, you are living at a higher vibration. That higher vibration not only passes to others but it helps to repel negative vibrations from you. If really you want to do this: 1) BELIEVE it to be so, and 2) Work on getting rid of any negative vibrations you now hold (fear, jealousy, anger, greed, control, etc.) 3) Buy the book and begin to work with these principles. It is NOT an overnight process, but if you're interested, just START!
Note: It takes DAILY work and committment to function at a higher vibration. (By the way, if you have any really negative friends, you may want to think about the amount of time you spend with them.)
Now don't think you can slide by on the little bit I wrote here and not buy the book. I just gave you 50 cents worth of the dollar store version. Get the book. You need the details. Doreen provides a lot of good info here. It's worth the little bit of money. You probably just spent more on your dinner! Spend some $$$ on your MIND and SPIRIT!
