| Realms of the Earth Angels: More Information for Incarnated Angels, Elementals, Wizards, and Other Lightworkers by Hay House Interesting read | I purchased this book along with Earth Angels, both were fairly inexpensive which was nice. Also the size is great if you want to take something along with you when you might have a wait (Dr. office, etc.)
Overall both books were interesting to me, and I felt like I did not waste my money. The only real 'complaint' I have with this book is unlike Earth Angels, it did not have the little quiz to see which Earth Angel you would fit in most with. If it had that little quiz, I would not have bought the first book, as this book is more or less a repeat of what the first book had, but with a tad bit more information.
I did feel like the first book, and this one answered some questions for me. A lot of what I read in both books made sense to me, also it was interesting to read about all the other Earth Angels.
Again like I mentioned before, if this book had the quiz that came with the first book, I would have not bought the first book. I believe it is thought that everyone who has the first book would buy this book and those who hadn't read either one would do like I did and pick up both books.
It was an interesting book; tho it would be nice if it even more information. Also if it had the quiz so one wouldn't 'have' to buy the first book to test and see which category they fit into most.
I do recommend this book as an interesting read, it definatly opened my eyes and gave insight as to why I am the way I am about some things. Also the price was not bad at all, which makes it all the more appealing to buy. | | Realms of the Earth Angels: More Information for Incarnated Angels, Elementals, Wizards, and Other Lightworkers by Hay House A Must-Have For All Earth Angels!!! | | As an avid reader of Ms. Virtues other books, owner of her book Earth Angels, a Mystic Angel (you'll have to read this sequel to discover what this realm is, and about the other newly discovered realms) and a very interested Lightworker, I was, and still am, soooooo happy about this sequel. However, I'm absolutely THRILLED to now have read and own this priceless book! DEFINITELY A MUST-HAVE!!! | | Realms of the Earth Angels: More Information for Incarnated Angels, Elementals, Wizards, and Other Lightworkers by Hay House Realms of the Earth Angels | | I am a Christian. I do not believe that angels and mythological creatures belong in the same realm. | | Realms of the Earth Angels: More Information for Incarnated Angels, Elementals, Wizards, and Other Lightworkers by Hay House love this book! | | This is a great book! But all of Doreen Virtue books are wonderful! | | Realms of the Earth Angels: More Information for Incarnated Angels, Elementals, Wizards, and Other Lightworkers by Hay House Nice ideas, but too much ego stroking. | Read: 2 1/2 stars.
I picked up this book because I perceived it as a book that would discuss incarnated angels, elementals, wise ones, etc., as archetypes that individuals could relate to. While this does seem to be its primary intent, I found it hard to take the book seriously, because (as I saw it) the author made a point to stroke the egos of her readers, making it seem like the readers were somehow more "extra special" than the average person. It seemed like a shallow attempt to placate the target audience, who are assumed to have had unusually unfair lives, who are misfits, and who would readily and happily be won over by the notion of somehow being intrinsically above and beyond other people.
While I've no doubt that some people might have a more global purpose in life, or a broader purpose, or a service-oriented purpose, or a more spiritually-oriented focus, I did not appreciate the way the author worded things... Everyone has a purpose of equal importance. As I perceived it, the author said things in a way that was so flattering it was practically patronizing. People should have esteem, and know they have worth, but the book's attempts at expressing these concepts seemed rather artificial to me. | | Realms of the Earth Angels: More Information for Incarnated Angels, Elementals, Wizards, and Other Lightworkers by Hay House Product Description | Since the publication of her best-selling book Earth Angels (more than 80,000 copies sold), Doreen Virtue presented workshops about these lightworkers to several international audiences, which yielded additional information about the various realms that these beings originate from. In addition to the “core realms” that Doreen discussed in the first book (Incarnated Angels, Incarnated Elementals, Star People, and Wise Ones), some new realms have been discovered. In Realms of the Earth Angels, Doreen discusses the original Earth Angels book, plus gives updated descriptions about the new realms, which include Mystic Angels (half-angel, half-wise one); Leprechauns (half-elemental, half-wise one); Merpeople; Knights; and more. As with the original book, you, the reader, can take an expanded quiz to help you recognize your own realm. Each realm has its own chapter, with Earth Angel characteristics, suggestions, advice, and case studies.
