You Gotta Keep Dancin': In the Midst of Life's Hurts, You Can Choose Joy! by Chariot Victor Publishing Changed my life!
I read this book after being in a wheelchair for a year. Even though I had to spend another year in that chair, my outlook on life changed completely! I am now buying copies for others who are in the same circumstances. I would recommend this book to anyone who is suffering from depression or discouragement due to a debilitating injury or illness! Life is not over! A new chapter has just begun!

Tim's story is amazing. He is an unbelievable man who has persevered through many trials. I liked the beginning of the book better than the latter parts. The part where he focuses on his story is much more interesting and captivating. A good, easy read.

I keep this book at all times to give to friends who have had surgery or any kind of physical "ailment." It is very inspiring; and I recommend it even to those who are well!
You Gotta Keep Dancin': In the Midst of Life's Hurts, You Can Choose Joy! by Chariot Victor Publishing Very Inspiring!
The author's story was very interesting to read. The way he handled being seriously injured in a mountain climbing accident, and then having to live the rest of his life in severe pain, was highly inspiring. I hope I can apply the same principles to improve my attitude about life and overcome depression!
You Gotta Keep Dancin': In the Midst of Life's Hurts, You Can Choose Joy! by Chariot Victor Publishing Putting life's struggles in perspective
Tim draws on his vast understanding of pain and suffering to write this and other books. He is a kind man, who loves God and wants to serve Him with all he has. Even through the pain, he still desires to share his faith and tell his story. Joy is one of the most difficult ideas to grasp, but Tim does it and lives it. This book is great for all readers, young and old, healthy and sick. You will find a renewed perspective on life and living every minute of it with the joy that comes from above
You Gotta Keep Dancin': In the Midst of Life's Hurts, You Can Choose Joy! by Chariot Victor Publishing Book Description
YOU CAN CHOOSE JOY Life can be tough. Stress, disappointment, heartache, hurt and #150;all are part of the human condition. But while pain is unavoidable, misery is optional! The freeing message of You Gotta Keep Dancin and #146; is that, no matter what your circumstances, you can choose to be joyful. Tim Hansel speaks as one who knows. For the past ten years he has lived with continual physical pain, the result of a climbing mishap in the Sierras. But You Gotta Keep Dancin and #146; is not just another story of a Christian who had an accident. It is a powerful account of God and #146;s working in one man and #146;s physical and emotional suffering, helping him discover the real meaning of joy. Tim doesn and #146;t treat lightly the difficulties of anyone and #146;s life. In his words, and #147;this book is in no way meant to diminish the awfulness of pain, tragedy, and affliction. I don and #146;t want to and #145;celebrate pain, and #146; but more deeply understand the dignity of what can happen in it, through it, and because of it. and #148; Tim Hansel is the founder of Summit Expedition, a wilderness survival school for individuals seeking deeper experiences with themselves, others, and God. In great demand as a speaker and seminar leader, Tim is also the author of the best-selling When I Relax I Feel Guilty and What Kids Need Most in a Dad. He makes his home in San Dimas, California, with his wife. You have changed my sadness into a joyful dance. Psalm 30:11 |
