How to Make a Journal of Your Life by Ten Speed Press Inspired me
Although I didn't get into the whole drawing thing (I am just really terrible at it) and I use my journal for my personal thoughts as well as description of what goes on around me, I got a lot of ideas from this booklet and got really into collecting stuff to paste into my journal. Also, I sometimes get people to write a thing or two in it...which gives it a real personal note. Worth reading if you are into journal writing or scrap booking.

I loved this book. It's very true to it's title. Sometimes with books like this you expect something and get something totally different. Daniel Price gives practical, do-able advice. I wanted to run right out and get a journal to start chronicalling my life. I enjoyed his personal stories. With journals like this I sometimes feel like I have to have perfect pages, but this book made me realize that's not so. This book was much smaller than I anticipated (in size), but it's packed full of useful information. I was able to pack it in my purse and read it casually. This is what a journal should be.
