| I read about this book in a Parenting magazine and immediately ordered it from Amazon. Written by 2 female pediatricians who are also moms, the book covers the first FOUR MONTHS of your baby's life. Chapters are organized by feeding, bathing, flying with your newborn, car safety, basic health concerns and more. The book is very easy to read, and the tone makes you feel you can care for your newborn and feel confident! My baby is due next month, and being able to prepare myself for some of the realities and know that many things are NORMAL and can be dealt with successfully is a huge relief. I recommend this book to every expectant mom I meet at my doctor visits! |

| As a future first time mommy who never babysat babies and never felt motherly, I was surprised to read this book and find out that I hadn't learned all that much from it. I felt kind of disappointed, wanting to find out more after putting it down. Maybe I'm too perfectionnist or want to know too much, but I felt like there was not enough information, not enough depth. I felt like I had learned all these things from my pregnacy books...which are not giving that much info I thought. I still liked it though and would recommend it but I personally will be on the lookout for a book with more coverage. |
