| The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities by Greenery Press (CA) Great book. Great idea. Time to move out of our comfort zones! | | This is a great book. I couldn't help but relate it to some stories I've been reading on Literotica dot com by an author who writes under the name "Romantic1". His stories as well as this book down play the difficulties of dealing with the rest of society when you adopt a polyamorous life style. What you end up doing is picking your friends as ones sympathetic to your life style not necessarily those that will help you grow and evolve in new dimensions. Reminds me too of the book Open Marriage by George and Nena O'Neill back in the early 1970s. Changes in this direction can't happen fast enough to suit me! | | The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities by Greenery Press (CA) Required Reading For All Couples | | So I was serious when I meant that the Ethical Slut should be required reading for all couples. Not that I think that polyamory or ethical sluthood is for everyone. In fact- let's be honest, it's not. But the chapters on communication and jealousy are amongst the best ever written. The message is clear- you have to own your own happiness and emotions, and be able to clearly communicate your needs with your partner, while at the same time respecting their needs and boundaries. These skills form the foundation of any relationship, but are paramount if you chose to push the boundaries and venture into ethical sluthood. | | The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities by Greenery Press (CA) "We have yet to meet a dildo that got hung up on it's own needs" | This is a fabulous book. I have been interested for a while about non-monogamy and this book helped me through some of my fears with unlearning things that have been beat into me with a monogamy-bound society. I am much like a man when it comes to sex, and there are very few things that hold me back from getting what I want. I think we all have a lot of love to give. And really...who wouldn't want to give and receive more love??
With the theory of: "you don't have to depend on any one person to fulfill your desires" (pg. 156), a whole world of possibility has opened for me. I feel encouraged to love now so more than ever. I am open to a lot more of myself than I have ever been, and it feels good. Really good.
SEX IS NICE AND PLEASURE IS GOOD FOR YOU!! | | The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities by Greenery Press (CA) Exactly what I was looking for | | To the point and exactly what I was looking for. Great tool to give to someone who you can explain exaclty what you are. | | The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities by Greenery Press (CA) Good poly primer | | This should be required reading for those new to polyamory. I really liked the terms introduced and discussed, espescially "monogamy-centrist". I can't believe there wasn't previously a word for that! |

The Apple Press interview about the iPhone
The Apple Press: “As WWDC comes to a close we went ahead and asked Brent Simmons, creator of NetNewsWire, about his opinions in regards to the iPhone and his reaction to Steve Jobs’ controversial 3rd party application announcement.”
Of course, I want badly to develop for the iPhone, but I understand that things happen in steps, and Apple doesn’t necessarily know this will all end up. So I’m cool with it.
