Simply Amazed

I was referred to this book from a good friend of mine. It took me a while to actually go out and get it. Now I'm kicking myself for not having bought it sooner.

When you open this book, the author allows you to know from page one what you are in store for. He never forces any ideas, or beliefs. This is honestly a book that one must read with an open mind, and open faith. After reading this book, I feel very enlightened. There are things in the book that seem far fetched, but again, it's all about what you are willing to believe.

The book was very simple for the average person to follow along with. There are a few words that come along and make you do a double-take, but Drunvalo usually makes sure you are constantly up to pace.

I have never been a mathmatical person. First flipping through the pages, I was a little intimidated. Yet, as I began to read, everything gracefully unfolded.

There is always more out there than we allow to realize.... this book definitely allows you to find the place within yourself where you can explore it all.

Of all the books I've read in the last few years... this is one that I will take off the shelf again, and again.

Last note, expect to get both Volumes. You need Volume 2 in order to fully learn what he is teaching.

Fascinating- explains intuitve understandings of our world using technical, scietntific, and mathmatical-based background

Wow, this book is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I am writing this review almost 2 years after reading both volumes.

I am so grateful I read his books, that I was skeptical yet curiously still intrigued enough to wish to look further into why and how he could speak of some of the information he presented as possible- as truth even- when some of it (not all by any means) seemed outrageous and most likely unbelievable to me. Yet it intrigued me just enough to search out more information about these subjects which, in turn, opened my mind and my life to unending possibilities, crazy (in a good way) yet rewarding, exciting, stimulating yet peacefully fulfilling, fascinating, and freeing beliefs and happenings.

I am not the most confident person when it comes to my mathmatical perceptions; I would say I am averge at BEST in my comprehension of the field. Drunvalo's enigneering and mathmatical-based explanantions were a bit hard for me to comprehend in some ways, yet I could still grasp the overall concept and I am so very thankful I pushed through the harder to understand areas for myself, as the foundation his explanantions established has, no doubt, allowed me much much greater understadning of other works, other fields, other things I've read since then and allowed me to catch on far quicker than I know I would have had I not read his books first. IF I had even been able to truly catch on at all! His technical explanations gave me the basis to easily comprehend a and understand many other things I have read since reading his books. And I gained a new appreciation of math in the process of reading his books (volumes I and II), too!

I highly recommend this book (both books)!!! If some things do not ring true to you at the time, simply take what does. You may be surprised how you find yourself learning and opening to more fascinating info down the road.

Understanding in advanve that the book was written from the transcripts of his seminars was helpful to me, also.

Drunvalo's overall message of loving all, including ourselves, was one thing never in question by this reader, though. :)

If nothing else then open your mind

I read this book with the intention to get an introduction into sacred geometry but once I got past the maths of how so many things in life are ratioed I got pretty bored with that as I'm not so good at grasping 'shape' concepts in my mind, I'm better off with the shapes in my hand.
However, that did not detract from the interest that I had in the book. So many fascinating theories are put forward, some tying up with ancient Egyptian culture and some just new 'out there' stuff, an truly eclectic mixture that shakes your mind. In fact I found that if I allowed myself the possibility that there was a truth in everything, as I so often find in life, then this book helped to open the mind and stretch the 'same old, same old' perspective.
There are more than enough books already out there that will tell you how things are in relation to the way that you view the world, this book gives you a snapshot from a totally different perspective but it's the same world. Remember the parable of the blind men and the elephant!
The book is diverse and entertaining enough to be read just for the sheer 'why not' factor and I would recommend that you do that, then see what rings true with you, no matter how far out it may be. And if the book just makes you very angry...explore why that is too!

"Buckle up for this ride"

Wow, where to start? This book is really "out there", it is for the open minded individual. Drunvalo tries to show you by many means, the truth that he found, through sacred history of Egypt, sacred geometry, mathematics, music, several different spiritual traditions. What he did was no easy task, so for that I'll say the book was very well written and very well done.
He tried to explain the origin of the material universe, the origin of us, in a way everybody can understand, not just the scholars, and this is not easy job. The book has a lot of mathematics, and sacred geometry, and then the conclusions drawn from this information, this for me was a challenge, big challenge, but I endured it, because I didn't want to miss the information provided in this book, so I went for the ride and finished the book, and I can tell you it was worth the effort!!! The Egyptian and Atlantean history part of the book is very entertaining actually, that part is easy read, at least for me, another detail is that this information about Thoth and the High Priest Ra, coincides with Edgar Cayce's information from his readings about Egypt and the destruction of Atlantis, the ship and the Ascended Masters, all this coincides with Edgar Cayce's readings.
For the seeker of the truth, this is a book you don't want to miss, even if you don't believe every bit of it, still you gain so much from reading this book.
I'm in for the second round, already bought the vol II.

Interesting...but overall a bad book.

I like Sacred Geometry. I think there is a lot of relevant information in the field.

I also understand that this the Author admits that the wild stories in the book are basically fantasy and are meant to be looked at as an interesting bit of insightful entertainment. But even when viewed as such, it's just a ****awful book. It wasn't even written, it was transcribed from taped lectures. The tone of the book makes it very hard to take seriously. It reads like a half-hearted attempt at cashing in on new-age BS, and even the author sounds only half interested. Seriously. The tone is more or less like this:

"Then I found this (archaic formula). I was like, wow. This is probably, you know, pretty important. I guess."

That, and there are ads for fairy wizard cult type books in the back. Oh, and you have to buy part two to get the really good info. Bummer. Sounds like the dude borrowed his business model from Jim Bakker or something.

If anyone is interested in sacred geometry, I would suggest checking out some of the more grounded books out there.
